The hidden astral world series – Don’t Attract Attention… Ever – My views on this entry.

This particular blog entry by Omen did seem to cause a bit of a stir. People said that it was rather negative and attracting attention was unavoidable.

Generally, I agree. You can’t avoid attracting attention if you’re on the spiritual path, but I wanted to say some things about it from my point of view.

On this planet, humans would be considered the dominant species.  That means if we consider anything prey, there isn’t much they can do about it.

This includes anything like livestock, which we breed for food, or when we hunt animals for sports, or when we see something like an ant, spider, fly, cockroach, or whatever.

The rights of such beings don’t really matter to the majority. If someone sees something they don’t like, they kill it without a second thought, and instantly forget it. A bug, no more than a millimeter, will meets it’s end simply by being there when a human is around.

To try and put it in another perspective, let’s say we were a race of spiders. We are killed on sight by most people just for the fact we exist. We have defences and can sometimes make life miserable for a human, but the fact is, even if we were harmless, we would be killed without a second thought.

So, you would do whatever you could to not draw attention to yourself. Notice how some spiders freeze the moment they are spotted. Doesn’t help them, of course, but it appears their instinct is not to draw attention.

The spiders or whatever creature can cry unfair about it all they like, but unless they somehow gain a voice, or an advocate and people choose to listen, the cold fact remains that they will be killed.

We can’t even treat each other with kindness and respect. We enslave, cheat, kill, exploit others just for our own gains and agendas.

If you’re on the receiving end of something that is stronger than you, and can potentially end your life on a whim, you would not attract attention under any circumstances.

And as a human, what advice would you give those beings? You would tell them how to avoid attracting attention.

And that is the point of this particular entry.
